Updates to the house

This past month has gotten crazy! School is done for the year and this summer I'm devoting to the house. Here are some pictures of the progress we have made so far.


This is the start to my little veggie garden. I planted carrots, radishes, colorabi, beans, spinach and peppers. Everything got off to a really great start but then we had one day where it hit 32F at night and went to 90F during the day. The beans and colorabi are trying to grow still but most of the little ones got baked. That's ok, we'll try again next year.


Here is out old dining room. Note the various shades of green. The dining room is kind of small, and very dark. We mostly use it to feed the cat since we have to feed her on a table to prevent the dog from eating her food.



And here is our shiny new dining room! Much better I think.


We also re-did the paint job in the kitchen to better tie it in with the dining room. The same white on the dining room is now going throughout the top of the kitchen. Eventually we want to do a tile backsplash on the blue part to give it a bit mroe pizazz, along with getting a black refridgerator to finish off our black/red appliance theme we seem to have going.
