Gluten free Christmas Eve

I have updated in forever!!

Well, this year we spent Christmas in our new house and it was very exciting. We decorated inside and outside and may still have our tree up still. We did have a bit of a let down when some punk stole our baby light up deer from the yard, but otherwise it was good. We also had a nice snow on Christmas day which was fabulous!

Christmas Eve my parents came over to our house so we did an all gluten free dinner.

For appetizers we had Hidden Valley inspired Spinach Dip,

Bacon wrapped Scallops,

and a shrimp cocktail platter from Martins Grocery.

For the main course we had Cornish game hens cooked with a wild rice stuffing as well as a shrimp scampi with linguini.

We made regular Barilla pasta for my husband, and Tinkyada gluten free rice pasta for my parents and myself. It was absolutely delicious!

Desert was a home made cheese cake with an almond flour crust. Yum yum!
